I went to Southside Elementary, Central Jr high with Terri We were in the same Girl Scouts troop together, and we lived less than a mile from each other. Al thought she was a grade behind me, I always considers her my friend. Our family moved away from Broken Arrow during the summer of ‘74 & it would just a short 6 years or so years before I would see her again. It was in January of 1981 at St Francis Hospital I had just had my first daughter probably 6 hours earlier when I was awakened in the middle of the night by the nurses bringing in a patient into my room. Imagine my surprise to see my grade school & Jr high friend, Terri Reeves! She had just given birth to her 2nd daughter, Amy Lynn. It’s not often, if ever, you’re admitted to the hospital and end up with a roommate you’ve known since around the age of 7. Years later we reconnected thru Facebook. We always left a comment wishing each one of our girls a happy birthday. Terri was as sweet as could be. I hated to hear the news of her getting sick & passing away so quickly. I know my friend is at peace now. My thoughts & prayers go out to all of her family & friends.
