Shelly was my sister in law. I was 7 when I first met her. That was 43 years ago !We were on our way somewhere in their brown van and for some reason she and I were talking about peoples initials. I said to her its too bad yours arent S.S. Because I said she was Sweet Shelly. She informed me that her initials were actually S.S. At the time I didnt know what her last name was. She will always be Sweet Shelly. When her and Pat would come over for Christmas, my other older brother and I had to wait for them before could open presents. Well, Shellys thick, gorgeous hair would take forever to dry so it took all the patience we could muster to wait until about 10 am when they finally arrived to then get to rip our gifts open. How I loved her hair. She was one of the strongest, kindest people I knew and Ive always looked up to her and held her in high esteem. She was a fighter to the end and she will forever hold a special place in my heart. RIP Sweet Shelly in the presence of our Savior.
