Robert Neal Aldridge, 83, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 7, 2025. He was born on April 17, 1942, in Drumright, Oklahoma, and would eventually become the son of C.R. and Hazel (Swanson) Aldridge. Read Obituary
Although I met Robert only briefly after the loss of his step-daughter last year, each conversation left a strong impression. His kindness was unmistakable, and the love he had for his family shone through. He lived his faith with sincerity and shared his talents generously as an artist. My prayers and deepest sympathy are with his family now.
In Loving Memory
He was the only real grandpa I’ve ever known, and I’ll always be grateful. His love for the Lord shaped so much of who he was, and it encouraged me deeply—especially when I was a new believer, visiting their church and listening to him teach about dinosaurs in the Bible.
I always admired his creativity and his passion for art; it was refreshing and so uniquely him. And the way he treated my daughter, Hermione, with such gentleness and joy meant more to me than he ever knew.
I’m heartbroken that he’s gone, but I’m also rejoicing that he is resting in the presence of the Lord, with a renewed mind and body. I’m thankful for his life, his example, and the memories we get to carry forward.
