I just learned that Murrel had passed away. I worked with him for many years from the Engineering Department at the City of Tulsa. He was a professional and was always willing to help people with their planning problems. His friendly attitude made a difficult job easy.

I remember Murrel with great fondness. He was four years older than I.I saw and talked to him often from the age of about 6 until the end of my public school days.He was an older friend to all of us cousins,taking us to the movies and other outings. He was always friendly,much like his mother Ione. In his personal relations and and administrative work for the city of Tulsa he was a friendly and helpful person to all.I would call him a blessed person and a blessing to all .
