I don’t have one specific memory in mind but really every memory of Mono is he was always smiling. He had the best laugh and would always tease us kids as we ran around the campground. So thankful to have known him and for being such a good friend to my Dad. Mono was family. Love and miss you, Mono! I hope you’re playing some bluegrass with my Dad having the time of your lives! 💞🫶🏾🤗
Guthrie and I were out running … I was tuckered and stopped as Gary ran towards the highway. Mono came driving by with his stand-up bass in his Jeep (before he and Marvel drowned it) and let me crowd in around back into camp.
