I am very sad to learn of Mr. Neumeyer's passing. He was my professor at both AWC in the 90's and ASU in 2019. He was an outstanding teacher and a great story teller. He not only taught his students what was in the textbook but even more importantly, he taught us from his real life experiences. He encouraged me to continue my education at any age. Occasionally I would stay after class to discuss family matters and he always had words of encouragement. Mr. Neumeyer is the kind of teacher that everyone should have at least once in their lives. I still have his contact info in my cell phone. He was a great man and I will miss him. His stories will stay with me for a life time.

So sad to hear of Gary's passing. I was a patrolman (now called patrolperson) for DCPD during the time he was there. He was a great guy.
He was one of the best professors at Arizona Western College. I learned a lot from him and I will always remember him. He believed in me even when I couldn’t in school and gave me real valuable advice. He was very intelligent and kind. I really hope I make you proud Mr. Neumeyer. I will be heading to graduate school very soon for a MD/ PhD. Thank you for sharing your life experiences in class and for being an authentic.
