Don, the news of your passing was crushing. I can't believe it. You were so full of life and a wonderful friend and colleague. I'm so sorry you weren't here longer. I so enjoyed Donnies memorial service today. Even though I watched it from my home in California, I felt a strong closeness to Dons family and friends there, all of whom seem to share my love for the man. He was a wonderful friend, a warm spirit, a steady rock, with an intelligent sense of humor that just never quit.I never got tired of talking to him about our wonderful families, football, barbecue, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Downy - I look forward to reuniting with you one day in His presence!
Many great memories of Don, having grown up across the street from the Mustang family. Walks through the woods with Don to the old railroad bridge, hunting with our BB guns and exploring along the way. Great times also had in the many neighborhood after-school and weekend football and baseball games. Summers Don was awalys there for the gray wolf and Americans & Germans games. Great times and great memories. Rest in peace friend and prayers for all the Mustang clan.
Don was an exceptional man. I truly enjoyed working with him. So sorry for your loss.
Don always had a smile for everyone he met. I worked with him on several Cat sights and in the office. He was a blessing to everyone he met, he will be missed!
