DAVID LIVINGSTON GRAY
Tulsa -- David Livingston Gray, 50, died unexpectedly after recovering from back surgery at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born January 25, 1974, in Norman, OK the son of Jan L and Jacqueline (Westfahl) Gray. David was baptized at First Baptist Church in Norman, OK in 1982.
David graduated from Sapulpa High School in the class of 1992. Following graduation, he attended the University of Oklahoma and Tulsa Community College.
David met and married Michelle (Simmons) in 1997. They celebrated 26 years of marriage in October. David was a loyal husband and friend, he would be there for you without complaint. Ready to shoulder any burden for others and never asking for anything in return. David's family remembers him as the most thoughtful of gift givers, as he would put a great deal of thought and searching into finding every gift he selected for someone. He worked for Aristocrat Games (formerly VGT) for 20 years and was remembered as "the greatest VGT tech you would ever want to work with." Co-workers also said of David "there was nobody who would do more to help you than David."
David was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Peggy (Hedges) Westfahl and Helen Gray and grandfather, Jack Gray. He is survived by his wife, Michelle, and son, Conner Gray, and step-son Dustin Scirto of Broken Arrow; mother, Jacqueline Gray of Norman; father Jan Gray of Wisconsin; brother, Doug Gray and his wife Lorie, nieces, Isabella and Victoria Gray, and nephews, Daxton and Christopher Gray all of Norman; grandfather, Harold Westfahl of Enid; his uncle, Al Westfahl and wife Jill of Lahoma, and numerous extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of David's life will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the Rivercrest Event Center, 13329 S. Memorial Dr., Bixby, OK 74008.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bixby-South Tulsa Funeral Service & Crematory.
