"Gray" has always been the way I addressed David. Every time I came into Gray's presence, he always had a sense of warmth. Gray had a genuine discerning spirit. He was always reading the room and being concerned about other's feelings. Gray always made sure everyone was comfortable in any gathering environment. Bud, I'm going to miss your smile. I know you are in a better place, my friend.
I worked with David on the very first installation team and other departments at VGT. David loved music like myself. I remember him coming out to see me play in local venues. My best memories of working all over the country with him “You Did It Wrong “! Rest in peace David and lots of prayers for your family.
I dragged him to see Iron Maiden last year at the BOK in Tulsa. He drove, I bought the tickets. Poor guy, I didn´t realize the extent of his troubles until trying to watch him climb to the nosebleed section, so this is a bittersweet memory. I got up to our row, looked back down to see him still at the bottom, looking up at me with a grimace. He had a giant Diet Coke in one hand and a plate of nachos in the other, and no extra hand to use the handrail. Sorry David, and rest in peace, my friend.
