Services honoring Dale Gene Lewis, Sr. will held Saturday, May 12, 2022 at the Liberty Baptist Chapel. Dale passed away January 26, 2022 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was 63 years old. Born February 16, 1958 in Tulsa, Dale was the son of Burl and Donna (Durey) Lewis. He grew up in Tulsa primarily, moving to Bixby in 1971 for a slower pace of life. Dale attended Bixby Public Schools where he made friends that lasted a lifetime. Following high school, he studied Diesel Mechanics at the Vo-Tech in Tulsa. While driving a truck, Dale met Gail while she was working at the sand plant scale house in 1996. They were married September 5, 1999 in Eureka Springs. Their dream came true when they moved to their 15 acres in Okmulgee County in 2002. Nothing made Dale happier than seeing his cattle while looking out the window of his home. He also enjoyed fishing and four-wheeling with his grandchildren on the property. Survivors include his wife, Gail; his children, Dale Jr. (Nellie), Lisa Lewis, April Tollette, Michelle Johnson (Jeremiah), and James Reagan (Katie); 18 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren; and his sisters, Monica Prince and Hope Martin.Dale was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Gayledean, two brothers, Roger and Burl William Lewis, and his granddaughter, Avery.
