My Dad was my sense of security and safety. I knew if I called him he would listen and allow me to be me. The absolute scariest moment was telling him at 16 that I was pregnant. My father showed me then that everything I was told about him was a lie. Because my father just hugged me and told me it was going to be okay. He and my brother went and talked to the donor. Only God knows how that went down. The fact that my father showed me true unconditional love. It’s life changing. I have so many things I wish I could have done with my father and say that it’s so hard to let it go. He would suggest the path to take but allow me to make that choice. Even when I ended up in jail my dad and Gail were the only ones to come see me. Again showing me unconditional love. Daddy I love you sooo much and miss u so dearly. There is not one day that goes by that I thank God for allowing me to have you as my father. I understand the struggles that came from my mom and us. Yet u never gave up.
