Bobby unceasingly exercised his inspiration throughout his journey, of which we all know. His countenance often brought forth an inspiration in others to perform works beyond their own expectations.Each of us seek a comforting resonance in life, and Bobby surely found that particular chord.As Bobby completes this quest to harmonize with that chord, he is pleased to know the extraordinary rhythms that triplets in an ongoing concert will render.And now, for us, though Bobbys spirit no longer sings out with the booming capacitance that we remember, Bobbys spirit does continue to communicate. Not with our capacity for reasoning, but certainly with the frequency of our memories in continuing moments such as these.
Larger than life and a staunch optimist who demonstrated the power of the Lord in his endeavors . . . remember the reel-to-reel music that played all over his house in Malang, deep voice of strength and encourager to my parents who served alongside Uncle Bobby while in Malang and then Blitar. Thank you for sharing your husband and dad to MKs like myself who admired his optimism, ingenuity and passion for the Lord. Looking forward to the day "When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!" Peace in grief but never lost because we know Him who calls us His own.
Aunt Jo, Mark, Dan, Susan and families, just wanted to let you know each of you are on my heart and in my prayers as you grieve the loss of Uncle Bobby. My memories of him are of course from Indonesia, his infectious smile and hearty laugh are what I most remember of him. Along with his heart for Jesus and his serving so many by "fixing things". Recently with the pictures Susan has shared on Facebook, I realized I have many memories of him with a camera in hand and that he was a gifted photographer, capturing many great pictures of the mission family that I love so deeply.
