My favorite memories was Uncle Ronald and Aunt Barbara coming over to our house for July 4th each year. You usually knew they had arrived before you ever saw them. They would pull up honking a horn that played “Boomer Sooner,” announcing themselves with a smile and a showing off Oklahoma pride. It was so unmistakably them. They also arrived with an abundance of fireworks and firecrackers to keep the kids busy all day long! Now, seeing them pull up in the driveway is one of those memories that still makes me laugh every time I think about it.
