Anita Pauline Adams, a beloved daughter, mother, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 85. Born on August 7, 1938, in the little town of Tussy, Oklahoma, Anita was the cherished child of Thelbert Paul Sutton and Maggie Annie Sutton (Gunter).
Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a commitment to excellence, Anita pursued her education at the Draughon School of Business, where she earned her associate's degree. With her sharp mind and meticulous attention to detail, she embarked on a fulfilling career as a secretary, contributing her talents to McCoys for many years.
In the spring of 1971, Anita faced the heart-wrenching loss of her beloved daughter, Dawn Michelle Adams, a sorrow that she carried with her throughout her life.
Anita's presence in the lives of those who knew her will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness, warmth, and unwavering strength.
She is survived by her loving son David Adams and his wife Melissa, who will forever hold her memory close.
