I had the honor and good luck of being his grandson. And I normally don’t make absolute statements about people, but I can say without any shred of uncertainty, that Bill Weir (Grandpa Weir to me) was truly the kindest man that I’ve ever known. I’m thankful he’s free of pain now, but he will be sorely missed. His genuinely kind and open-heart is something that will continue to inspire me and I have no doubt that he’s inspired so many people that were around him. Love you grandpa, David Thomas
