William Carl Klintworth's Obituary
William Carl "Bill" Klintworth, age 99, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones. Bill was born on October 21, 1926, in Tulsa, the son of Carl Klintworth and Betty Steiger Klintworth.
Bill graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1944. During his school years, he worked as a page boy at the historic Mayo Hotel and as an usher at the Circle Cinema.
Following graduation, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He was also a 32nd degree Mason.
Bill was known for his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. He served as a firefighter for the City of Tulsa and throughout his life owned and operated several successful businesses. Among them were National Cartage Truck Line and Service Inc. In the 1960s, Bill and his partner, Dick Todd, formed TK International, a company specializing in the repair of jet engine parts. In his later years, alongside Skip he purchased a cast materials company known as Carapace.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Elizabeth Klintworth; his beloved wife, Jody Klintworth; and many cherished aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Kaye Klintworth of the home; daughter Kay Klintworth Roberson and husband Ken Roberson; son Skip Klintworth and wife Kimberly Klintworth; grandchildren Ty (Whitney) Roberson, Brad (Kerrie) Roberson, and Scott Roberson (Katy), Kellie Van Atta, Brittany Bullen, (Clark), Jonathan Perkins (Chloe) and Katelyn Gove (Chris)
Great grandchildren: Jordyn, Reece, Eli, Kelley, Kara, Addilyn, Liam Roberson, Thomas, Charlie, Stephen, and Sam Bullen, Paxton and Everly Van Atta, Sienna and Ella Gove, and Santiago Perkins.
Bill will be remembered for his service to his country, his dedication to his family, his remarkable business accomplishments, and his ability to make people feel valued and important. His legacy of hard work, generosity, and love for family will continue through all who knew him.
