Vicki was my very good friend when we both worked at the Environmental Protection Agency in Washington DC in the late 70s. I am her daughter Amanda's godmother. Vicki was truly an angel. How she was the glue that held that huge, diverse family together is a wonderful testimony of how she followed God's way. I witnessed those qualities in her throughout our years of close friendship, up until the time she moved from OR to OK. Then I heard all the stories from Amanda! I wish I'd been able to visit during her "Oma" years (I had to look up that term!)You all were truly blessed to have Vicki in your daily lives. Now she is an angel in heaven watching out for all of us - and remember, she'll be there as a witness when we pass through the pearly gates - her disciplined eye will tell all!
