Private services will be held for Tyler Joseph White. He passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2020 in Tulsa. He was 34 years old.
Born August 23, 1985 in Tulsa, Tyler was the son of John Kevin and Charleen (Books) White. He lived in Bixby for four years until his father passed away in 1985. Tyler’s family moved to Beggs, and Tyler graduated from Morris High School. He was an artist at heart and loved to write poetry. Tyler was known by many to be highly intellectual. He was also a tatoo artist and loved to play pool competitively. Tyler loved all types of meaningful music.
Surviving family include his mother, Charleen; his children: Larissa Mae-Rose, his twin boys,Victor and Tristan, Jaxson Ruddy, Jonathan Roman, and Tyler Gean; his sister, Cynthia Lynn Reynolds and brother, Ira Earl Sims, Jr.; his nephews Daniel and Dillon Reynolds, his niece Sarah Olivia Sims; his grandmother and grandfather, Edna and Dave Jones that miss him very much; his Uncle Leroy and Aunt Celura Book; many cousins on the Books side of the family; cousins Tracy Watkins and husband, Russell, Temple Brown and wife Carol, Tara Upton, Trevor Brown, Jamey Brown, Bess Neal, Josh White, Lesley Medeiros-Schaffer and husband Jim; in addition to many other family members that loved him and will miss him.
Tyler was preceded in death by his father, John Kevin White; his stepfather, Danny Shatswell; his brother, Brian Golden; grandparents, Homer and Murial White; his aunts, Betty White, Sheri Brown, and Kathi White; and his uncle, Tom White.
