Theresa Marie Catherine Rudisaile, age 61, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A funeral ceremony honoring Theresa will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Rivercrest Chapel located at 13329 S. Memorial Dr. in Bixby, Oklahoma. A private interment will be held in Bixby Cemetery.
Theresa was born on December 10, 1964, in Tulsa, to James and Florence (Perkins) Rudisaile. Theresa grew up in west Tulsa, where she attended the St. Catherine School. She went on to build a meaningful career, serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant and earlier working in several roles as an administrative assistant.
Raised in the Catholic faith, Theresa also gained spiritual family at West Tulsa United Methodist Church and Garden City Baptist Church, both of which she was an active and cherished member of the congregation for many years.
Theresa had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in walking nature trails at the park. She was the kind of person who would extend an open invitation to anyone willing to join her on a new trail - always eager to share the simple beauty of a walk in nature. Theresa was an emphatically proud and devoted grandmother, finding her greatest happiness in loving and celebrating her grandchildren. She also adored her dog, Pops, who was a constant and beloved companion.
Those who knew Theresa would describe her, above all, as a survivor. She faced many challenges throughout her life and met each one with quiet strength and resilience - a testament to the remarkable woman she was.
Theresa is survived by her son, Jeremy Lea, and Shelby Bolen; her daughter, Jamie Stephens and her husband Harrison; and her grandchildren, Dax, Fletcher, Hollis, Barry, and Remi; her sisters, Sue Dilday and Deborah Potts; and her brothers, Dennis Rudisaile, Joe Rudisaile, and David Rudisaile; and numerous other relatives and friends.
