Thelma Haynes' Obituary
Thelma Lola Haynes went to be with Our Lord and Savior on Saturday February 8th, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the age of 99. She was surrounded by her loving sister Jerell V Banzet, niece Sharon Ann Bogle and husband David Bogle. She passed away very peacefully.
Thelma Lola McManus Haynes was born November 21st,1925, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Mary Eizabeth Jones McManus and Everett Louis McManus. She lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Married her sweetheart Virgil Haynes December 4th, 1943, and then she moved to Anaheim California in 1947 where they both worked. Thelma worked as a sales associate for a department store. They had one son, Ronnie Eugene Haynes. They were members of Knott's Ave Christian Church where She taught Sunday school and was also a wedding planner and an expert seamstress. She touched many lives. In 1983 Thelma and her husband Virgil moved back to Tulsa, Oklahoma to spend time with her sister Jerell Banzet and her mother Betha Martin. Her husband Virgil Haynes and Son Ronnie Eugene Haynes preceded her in death. She had two living grandsons, Steven Haynes and his wife Vanessa Haynes of Arizona and Josh Haynes of Oregon. She had one living sister Jerell V Banzet, of Tulsa, OK, whom she loved dearly. She had four grandchildren, Alexis, Lola, Jacoby and Malakia Haynes, all of Arizona. She also had several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
