Susan Ann Gibson passed away Thursday evening, July 7, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 67 years old. Susan was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 16, 1955, the daughter of Edward and Ora (Osborn) Gibson.
Susan moved to Oklahoma at a young age when her father found work in Oklahoma City. She attended Orchard Park School for the Handicapped for 5 years and served as a teacher’s aide while living in Bennington, Oklahoma. Susan later relocated to the Tulsa area to live with her sister, Mary.
Susan had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her cocker spaniels. She also enjoyed putting puzzles together, working search and finds, and painting suncatchers.
Surviving family members include her sisters, Mary Adams and spouse, Ronald of Sapulpa, and Sandra Shephard of Oklahoma City; her nieces, Letha Langren and spouse, David of Sand Springs, Teresa Gambill and spouse, Buck of Sand Springs, and Donna Davis and spouse, Tim of Minco; nephew, Dale Mayfield and spouse, Linda of Oklahoma City, 11great nieces and nephews; and 12 great-great nieces and nephews that Susan absolutely adored.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Kathyrn, and her brother, Edward.
