Sidney Phyllis Boyd's Obituary
Sidney Phyllis Boyd passed away early Sunday morning, November 24, 2024, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was 92 years old.
Born on April 27, 1932, in Elk City, Oklahoma, Sidney was the daughter of William and Nena (Drake) Page. She grew up in Elk City and graduated from high school in her hometown. Sidney built a successful career at Getty Oil Company (later Skelly), where she worked in the accounting department.
A devoted member of Fellowship Lutheran Church, Sidney was known for her love of quilting and her enthusiasm for playing Bunco with friends. Her warm spirit and creative talents touched the lives of many.
Sidney is survived by her granddaughter Jennifer Wade, great-granddaughter Emily Wade, and grandson Gordon Childress.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Clint Boyd.
A graveside ceremony will be held at 1 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery, where family and friends will gather to remember and honor her life.
