Shirley spent her young years in Graham, and she has many friends who still remember her. She was always pretty and so sweet. We remained friends on FB, and it was a shock to hear of her passing. Her cousin, Larry Rogers, was always one of my dear friends and still is. I will let her Graham schoolmates know. May God wrap all of you, her family, in your arms. Sam was my very dearly loved close friend and confidant. We prayed, played, laughed, cried, and studied God’s Word together - such precious times. I mourn deeply for her, but not without hope: Sam stepped into eternal life reserved for her and is seeing our Lord Jesus Christ face-to-face - forever! Jim, Kirk, Tracee, Stacee and all the others: my prayers are with you that you will feel God’s presence and comfort.

I worked with Sam for 18 years. We shared many good times, challenging moments, and respect for each other. Though we were of different faith traditions, we shared a love of God, many moments of prayer, and a deep faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior. Sam was a driven woman of integrity, a leader, had a soft heart, and a deep abiding love for her family.
