Dr Newell treated me as a patient from the young age of 22 until my 50’s when she retired. She helped me navigate and treat my RA for so many years. I always loved the way she flew in the exam room with a big smile. I remember the last time I saw her a few years back and I said “You’re not going to retire on me are you?” She smiled but didn’t answer and sure enough by my next visit she wasn’t there. I literally cried. She was such a lovely woman and I admired her so much. I am very grateful for everything she did for me. May she rest in peace.
