Rose Mary Green's Obituary
Rose Mary Green, a resident of Owasso, Oklahoma, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 25, 2025. She was a beloved daughter of the late Ray and Katheryn Brown. Born on May 5, 1945, she was a graduate of Pryor High School and an enrolled citizen of Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
Rose is preceded in death by the love of her life and husband Glenn O. Green Sr.
Rose found joy in all of God's creatures. She was owner, operator of Greenbrier Kennels for many years. Rose was a member of the American Kennel Club and throughout her life she raised, groomed, and showed poodles, whippets, dashounds, and even rabbits. Rose was a talented, beautiful writer and designed church bulletin's for many years. She was a Ham Radio operator and enjoyed painting ceramics, fishing, target shooting, but she was happiest playing in the dirt planting and tending her irises.
Preceding her in death is her grandparents, Hugh and Maude Hendrix and Fuller and Sally Brown; two brothers, Hubert Brown, Truman Brown, and one sister, Lema Gayle Brown, along with many friends.
Rose leaves behind her daughter Kimberley Perigo; son and daughter-in-law Owen and Tamera Green; and her precious grandchildren Justin Quest and Taylor Miller; grandson in-law, Justin Miller; along with two great grandchildren, Jay Miller and Kimber Miller: nieces Kathy Hall and Erin Brown and nephews Dale Brown and Dane Brown, and several cousins.
Rose's legacy lives on through her family, who will remember her compassion, strength, and kindness. We will never forget her love for Jesus, baseball, NASCAR, tennis, golf, horses, dogs, and flowers.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to friends, ClareHouse, and Truheart hospice nurses and volunteers who made her last days on earth beautiful.
