I feel blessed and lucky to have had a lot of great bosses and mentors in my life, but none were more important or impactful than Bob Tennant. Theresa and I moved to Tulsa just a few months after being married and a few days from grad school. The first person that showed up as we were moving into our apartment was Bob, with a handful of coffees just to check on us and welcome us. He also had with him a station wagon full of dogs. From that point, Bob became my adopted father for the next two years. He and Lynn opened up their home to us, helped us enjoy our first meal in our first home that we eventually bought in Tulsa and visited Theresa and I when Riley was born in St Francis, just before transferring to Louisville. I will never forget the many life lessons, all which my kids are now very familiar and amazing way Bob could chew you out and build you up at the same time. Even in death, Bob remains a person I never want to disappoint. Stacey and Chris, our thoughts are with you and your families. Bob will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
