Richie Lee Shroff's Obituary
Richie Lee Shroff, 82, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, December 20, 2025, at Clarehouse in Tulsa.
Richie was born on February 7, 1943, in Tulsa to Everett and Ora (Bayley) Shroff. He was a proud graduate of Will Rogers High School, Class of 1961. Following high school, Richie honorably served in the United States Army Reserve for six years, from 1964 to 1970.
He later attended the University of Tulsa, studying Management Science in 1977, and remained a devoted supporter and fan of the university throughout his life. Richie spent the majority of his professional career working as a computer programmer with MPSI, a field well suited to his analytical mind and lifelong curiosity about technology.
Outside of work, Richie was passionate about amateur radio and was a licensed ham radio operator with the call sign W5OKL. He was also an active member of the Tulsa Astronomy Club, Tulsa Amateur Radio Club, and Green County HAM Fest Inc.
Richie is survived by his sister, Janice Scott, and her husband Jim; his niece, Jennifer, and her husband Jonathan; his nephew, Greg Scott, and his wife Becky, all of Verdigris, Oklahoma; along with numerous extended family members who will cherish his memory.
Richie is proceeded in death by his only daughter Tammy Shroff Gray.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.
