Regenia Naedean Neumeyer, affectionately known as Naedean, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family at the age of 93. Born on August 21, 1931, in Council Hill, Oklahoma, to Ollie Williams and Mary Jane Thompson, Naedean was raised in her hometown and graduated from Council Hill High School.
During her school years, Naedean met Bennie Neumeyer, and their friendship blossomed into a deep love. The two married on May 3, 1951, in Van Buren, Arkansas, and began their life together on the family farm in Council Hill. When Bennie was stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army, Naedean waited for his safe return before they relocated to Tulsa, where they built a life filled with family, community, and countless cherished memories.
Naedean's heart for children was evident in her 28 years of devoted service as a preschool teacher at South Tulsa Baptist Church, where her gentle kindness and warm smile left a lasting impact on many young lives. Alongside her family, she spent many joyful days boating and camping by the lake, sharing laughter and love in the great outdoors. Later in life, she found joy in gardening on the family farm and unwinding with her favorite games, Cookie Jam and Candy Crush. Her faithful dog, Duchess, was her constant companion and a beloved member of her family.
Naedean's legacy of love lives on through her children: Traci Foster, Staci Pogue, Steve Neumeyer and Suki, and Regina Walden; her grandchildren, Kendra Marriott and Bobby, Tyler Foster and Sydnee, Kelsey Foster, Sam Batista and Erick, Teri Pogue, Deena Wise and Dean, Malisa Perkins and Mark, Angela Martin and Michael, Michael Mitchell, Ashley Neumeyer, and Justin Neumeyer; and her great-grandchildren, Savannah, Skylar, Zackery, Grayson, Levi, Kali, Jake, Maddy, Katherine, AJ, Star, Tristen, Matthew, and Ayden.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Neumeyer; her son-in-law, Dennis Pogue; and her great-grandson, Liam Martin.
Regenia Naedean Neumeyer's warmth, generosity, and boundless love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
