Reagan Mae Newton's Obituary
Reagan Mae Newton, age 12, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, November 11, 2025, at Saint Francis Children's Hospital in Tulsa.
Born November 2, 2013, in Kenton County, Kentucky, Reagan was the beloved daughter of James and Heather (Jarvis) Newton. Due to her father's career, Reagan lived all over the United States, including Georgia, Colorado, Kansas, North Dakota, West Virginia, and most recently in Claremore, Oklahoma. Georgia held a special place in her heart and remained her favorite place to call home.
Reagan was a talented artist who loved to draw and express her creativity. She enjoyed playing video games with her brothers, especially Minecraft, and watching anime. She had a surprising love of cleaning the house, always eager to help keep things tidy. Reagan had a sassy, punk rocker personality and loved skateboarding, rollerblading, and riding her bike. Despite her tomboy side, she was also very girly, loving makeup-especially her lip oil-and playing dress up. Music filled her life, with country and rock 'n' roll being her favorites, particularly when listening with her dad.
Reagan had a deep love for animals and cherished her pets, including her corn snake named Tank and her French Bulldog, Layla. Dogs held a special place in her heart. Her favorite colors were pink and purple, and she adored sunflowers and dolphins. She treasured motorcycle rides with Grandpa Dave, creating memories that will be forever cherished.
Reagan is survived by her loving parents, James and Heather Newton; her grandparents, Edwin and Bonnie Jarvis, and David and Ruth Newton; three brothers, Lukas, Blake, and J.R.; and her aunt, Jessica Grissom, uncle Mike Newton and aunt Heather Taylor, and uncle, Cory Jarvis; along with many other family members and friends who will deeply miss her bright spirit.
