Randy Meeks' Obituary
Randy Keith Meeks was born November 2, 1959, in Tahoka, Texas, to Othell and LaVerne (Holsenbeck) Meeks. He was welcomed into the family by his older brother, Jerry, and sister, Karen.
Growing up in a close-knit West Texas community, he regularly shared fond memories of the family farm, and his experiences with high school friends. Randy developed a love for sports at an early age. Many of his favorite memories included attending Texas Tech Red Raiders football games with his father. He later attended Texas Tech University, earning a bachelor's degree. During his time there, he was a proud member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, where he formed friendships that would last a lifetime.
Randy found his calling in the medical device industry. As a sales executive, he built a successful and respected career, consistently earning recognition for his leadership and performance. Prior to his recent retirement, he took an entrepreneurial step and launched his own medical device company.
Outside of work, he loved being on the golf course, traveling with family and friends, and, most importantly, spending time with his girls. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loyal friend. He was known for his outgoing nature, sense of humor, and for being his family's anchor.
Randy's life was tragically cut short in an unexpected accident. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His impact will not be forgotten.
The family is planning a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Friends and family will be invited to gather, share stories, and celebrate his life.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry Meeks.
He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne (Runyon) Meeks; his daughter, Payton Leigh Meeks; and his sister, Karen Kelln.
