Payden Noah Bloem's Obituary
Payden Noah Bloem, 32, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Tulsa. He was born January 14, 1994, in Tulsa, the son of Robert Bloem and Leah Scott.
Payden was a 2012 graduate of Broken Arrow High School, where he played soccer. He went on to attend Tulsa Tech for auto mechanic training, turning a lifelong love of cars into a career. Self-employed, Payden had a true gift for working on vehicles of all kinds - from Corvettes to foreign cars - and took pride in doing what he loved every day. When he wasn't under the hood of a car, he could usually be found riding his dirtbike or out on his motorcycle, chasing the next adventure.
And Payden truly was an adventurer at heart. Skydiving, fast cars, motorcycles - if it came with a thrill, he was in. But his adventurous spirit was matched by an equally tender one. He had a servant's heart, and he was known for being sweet, charismatic, and genuine - the kind of person who wore his heart on his sleeve and gave of himself freely to the people he loved.
Payden could cook just about anything, a skill passed down to him by his grandmother, and he loved sharing good food with the people around him - vanilla ice cream was always a favorite. He never missed a chance to enjoy a good fireworks show, and he loved settling in with a game of GTA on his PlayStation. A sports fan through and through, he cheered on the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Red Wings, and never lost his love for soccer and hockey. His taste in music ran to country and old rock 'n' roll, and he found faith and community at Victory Church.
More than anything, Payden loved his daughter, Lylah, and his family, who were the center of his world.
Payden is survived by his daughter, Lylah; his parents, Robert Bloem and wife Debbie, and Leah and husband Darren Scott; and his siblings, Nicholas and wife Laura, Brittney and husband Travis, Jerrika and husband Tony, Bailey and husband Cameron, Jordan, Nick and wife Danielle, Justin, and Angela.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Geri Bloem, and Harold and Florence Reading.
Viewing and services honoring Payden's life will be held privately with family.
