Patricia Annette Pruitt's Obituary
A funeral ceremony honoring and remembering the life of Patricia Annette Pruitt will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, in the Rivercrest Chapel, with Pastor Aaron Hunter officiating. Viewing will begin at 9:30 AM.
Patricia passed away on December 6, 2024, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. She was born on January 17, 1948, in Coupeville, Washington, to Albert Walter Pruitt and Hazel Roberta (White).
Patricia was a devoted member of Collective Church, where she found community and spiritual strength. She worked as an associate at Walmart in Tulsa for over 20 years, earning the respect and friendship of her coworkers and customers alike.
Patricia's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children: Sandy Michelle Hunter and her husband, Aaron; Kimberely Strickland and husband, Jared; and Jeremy Shane Meeks and his wife, Tarah. Her cherished grandchildren include Tim Hunter and wife, Martha, Madison Hunter and husband, Justin, Maverick Meeks, Tristan Meeks, and Sayre Strickland; along with her beloved great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Hunter, Tripp Metivier, and Rhett Hunter. Patricia also embraced her step-grandchildren: Fred and Sidney; and many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her siblings: Janice Jenkins of Morris, OK, Mike Pruitt of Siloam Springs, AR, Cathy Hoggatt of Locust Grove, OK, and David Pruitt and wife, Kathy of Missouri.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Albert Pruitt, Jr. niece, Shelly Pruitt-Steddum; and brother-in-law, Richard Hoggatt.
Her family and friends will forever remember Patricia for her unwavering faith, her loving spirit, and her warm, welcoming smile. Her legacy of love and kindness lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
