She was a member of the Oklahoma Library Association (O.L.A.) and the American Library Association (A.L.A.), and a past president of the Bixby Chamber of Commerce. Tootie was a long-time member of Bixby First United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge, reading, and doing counted cross stitch. Tootie loved her pets and especially visiting her grandchildren. Tootie passed away July 2, 2023. She was 92.
