Dear Mitch and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Your Mom was a good and godly woman who all the kids in Red Fork looked up to. I shared this story with you and her a couple of years ago when your Dad passed away. The first time I ever had blueberry muffins was when your Mom made them when I spent the night with you, and she had them ready for breakfast. Warm, in a basket wrapped in a checkered towel, with butter ready on the side to spread. That was just an example of the loving and giving person that she was, she made you feel like you were the most important person. When you spoke with her you could see and feel the love of Jesus in her eyes. I remember visiting once after you moved to Jenks, and she greeted me the same way, making me feel loved and important. I am sure that she will be greeted by the Lord in the same way, “Well done my good and faithful servant”. We will keep you all in our prayers in these coming days.
