Maureen Elizabeth Padilla's Obituary
Maureen "Renee" Elizabeth (Hooftallen) Padilla, age 87, passed away on Feb 22, 2026 in Bixby, Oklahoma.
Born on November 12, 1938 in Austin, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Marilyn Elizabeth (LaMont) Hooftallen and Earl Cecil Hooftallen. She graduated at Pennsylvania College of Technology with an Associate of Applied Science - Interior Plantscape and Floral Design.
She was a lover of Elvis Presley, flowers, dancing, sugar, cats, and her family and friends. Her infectious banter and laughter would fill the room, anywhere she went. If you knew her, you knew she was always waiting for a hug and kiss. Other things you would catch her doing was crafting something up. You could catch her with a crochet or knitting needle, making heirlooms and memories that will live on with us today and beyond.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Randy Padilla (Kirk and Kelli), Hope Harrier-Baxter (Lindsay [Zoe and Zara], Charity [Benedict "bright eyes"], Elijah, and Randi) , Lori Goodrich; spouse Doug Goodrich (Katrina [Leila "brown eyed girl", Isaac, Micha, Slate] Kasandra [Jolene "Jogee"]), Valerie Talmage (Brandon "Scotty skunk"), and Kord Padilla (Elias Kye, Katelynn). She is survived by her siblings Jackie Walker, James Hooftallen, Carla Major, Penny Bennett, Sue Valenti.
She was predeceased by granddaughter Brandi LeAnne Talmage. Brother, Earl Richard Hooftallen. Sister, Barbara Ann Smith. Her parents Marilyn Elizabeth Lamont and Earl Cecil Hooftallen.
