A funeral service honoring and remembering Mason Leonard Lawrence will be held 3 PM Friday, July 14, 2023 in the Rivercrest Chapel, 13329 S. Memorial Drive in Bixby. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM Thursday, also at Rivercrest. Mason passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 8, 2023 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was 21 years old.
Mason was born July 22, 2001 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He grew up in Tulsa and Glenpool - a completely fearless child who loved anything with wheels. Mason enjoyed BMX racing, scooters, dirt bikes, and anything with motion. His collection of motorcycles included a YFZ 250 dirt bike, his Honda CVR 250 street bike, an MT06, which was a graduation present, and his Triumph Daytona 1000. Mason was an extremely talented rider and knew everything he needed to know about his motorcycles. He was a member of the 41st Street Motorcycle Club.
An outdoorsman at heart, Mason loved camping, and actively participated in the Cub Scouts, as well as the Boy Scouts of America. Mason earned his Arrow of Light badge in Troop 20. He graduated from Glenpool High School with the Class of 2021.
While in high school, Mason participated in the "Good Morning Glenpool" news broadcast. He actively participated in the Technology classes, where he enjoyed working with cameras and video production.
Following high school, Mason completed his certification with the American Diesel Training Centers in Cincinnati, Ohio. Most recently, Mason was gainfully employed as a journeyman electrician with Prism Electric.
Mason had a beautiful smile and was known to be quite the celebrity at Glenpool. He had a positive attitude and fun spirit. It was impossible to have a bad day around Mason Lawrence. He leaves behind a host of family and friends who loved him dearly.
Surviving family include his mother, Clarissa Eastman and her partner, Doug Banic; father, Michael Eastman; grandma, Debora McKee and spouse, Jim; grandpa, Randy Lawrence; siblings, Caleb Lawrence Melody Eastman, Calvin Eastman, Amber Eastman, Tyler Eastman and Andrew Kraft; and his biological father, Chris Kraft.
Mason was preceded in death by his Amerie Kraft.
