Heaven received a true Angel the morning of July 8th, 2020. Mary Alice Blackford, went to heaven after 94 wonderful years on this earth. Mary Alice was a faithful Christian for her entire life. There was one thing she talked often, which was a grand family reunion in heaven with our Lord and Savior.She touched so many lives in such a positive way. Born and raised in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Mary Alice worked as a school teacher and post office worker for many decades.One of her favorite activities was attending Sunday School and Church services. Later in her life she enjoyed visiting folks at the eatin' place in Sallisaw.Mary Alice was the last of one of the finest groups of siblings this world has ever known. Born to Georgia Neal (aka Mama Georgia), Mary Alice had four brothers: Jewel, Gene, Carl and (my dad) Floyd. All of whom have now been gloriously reunited for eternity.She was a wonderful mother of one son and three daughters, including her beloved Carol who proceeded Mary Alice in her heavenly journey.We love you Mary Alice! Until we meet again at that grand family reunion in heaven.
