Marcy Ann Mink's Obituary
Marcy Ann Mink, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was 61 years old.
Born on March 26, 1963, in Kansas City, Kansas, Marcy was the cherished daughter of Jackie James and Josephine Drummond Witt. She spent her formative years in Kansas City, where she developed a love for the outdoors that would become a hallmark of her life.
Marcy introduced everyone she met to the joys of lake life, spending countless happy days in Perry, Kansas, Clinton, Missouri, and Smithville. Her passion for the lake and the outdoors was infectious, and she loved fishing, boating, tubing, and family dinners by the water. She was known for renting a private family campsite every year, where many nights were spent with loved ones singing karaoke under the stars.
Family was at the heart of Marcy's life. She adored her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and she was affectionately known as "Mamaw" or "Aunt Marcy" to everyone, whether they were family or not. The love of her life, Eddie Mink, also know as "Papaw," was her steadfast companion in all their adventures.
Marcy is survived by her daughter, Erika and husband Joe; her grandchildren, Grayclyn Marcy and Warren Hochard; her great-grandson Eddie Hochard-Mink; and her sisters, Janet and Donna. Her warm and generous spirit touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation and funeral ceremony celebrating Marcy's life will be held from 2-4 PM on Saturday, June 22, 2024, in the Rivercrest Chapel.
Marcy Ann Mink's legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
