Ms. Lea gave me my first job working with children. It was in that first job I discovered my passion for working with kids and ultimately lead to my career now. Ms. Lea was a kind and faithful leader-a TRUE woman of FAITH. Always setting the best example for how to make a difference in the life of a child-bc she made a difference in mine. I remember being in high school and one day she stopped me at church and pulled me to the side and said “I know you were made by God to make a difference and I want you to know I’m proud of the woman you are growing up to be”. I’ve thought about this many, MANY times throughout my adult life. How lucky I was to have so many women of faith praying for me as I was growing up. The news of her passing brings mixed emotions.I say this bc I know her death means the loss of such a beautiful life here on earth, but Heaven has gained such a beautiful ANGEL. I look forward to having a cup of coffee together when I get there. Love you Ms. Lea. ❤️
