Lindsey Lashley-Cheatham Obituary
Lindsey Jordan Lashley-Cheatham passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 in Mounds, Oklahoma. She was 33 years old. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 2 PM Wednesday, October 12 at the Crossroads Baptist Church, 6962 Happy Camp Road in Beggs. Pastor Chad Eads will be officiating.
Born July 13, 1989 in Tulsa, Lindsey was the daughter of Lisa Lashley and John Cheatham. She spent her early years in Mountain Home, Arkansas and moved back to Tulsa where she graduated from Webster High School in 2007. Lindsey was a cheerleader as well as a basketball player throughout her high school tenure.
Lindsey always had a strong work ethic from an early age. She spent many hours working with her mother waiting tables and alongside her stepfather at the water park. Lindsey just celebrated her 5-year work anniversary at Route 66 Harley Davidson in Tulsa. She was recently promoted to Motor Clothes Manager. Lindsey was well respected for her problem-solving ability and the pride she took in her position.
Family was so important to Lindsey. She loved fishing with her grandfather on Bull Shoals Lake. Lindsey loved all types of animals, especially her cat, Fred. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, stepsister, and friend to so many people who will certainly cherish her memory.
Surviving family members include her mother, Lisa Lashley and fiance, Allen Hill; father, John Cheatham and his wife, Mary; stepfathers, Todd Fielding and Chris Parker and his wife, Jennifer; aunt, Sharon Warren (Steve); stepbrother, Ross Hill and fiance, Brooke Duncan, stepsister, Ashley Hill, stepbrother, Preston Parker, half-brother, Max Cheatham , and her best friend (who was like a sister), Ashley Thomas.
Lindsey was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Sharon Lashley.
