A funeral ceremony honoring and remembering Laurie Rene Witzke will held 10 AM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the RiverCrest Chapel in Bixby. Rev. Phillip Stephens will be officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM Friday at RiverCrest. Laurie passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was 59.
Born in Evansville, Indiana where she grew up with her parents and four siblings. She moved to Tulsa in 1977. In Tulsa, she developed life-long friendships and started her family.
Laurie enjoyed camping, fishing, antiquing, and spending time with her family and friends. We remember her for her genuine kindness and compassion that she had for those in need around her.
Surviving family members include father, Claude Grissom; husband, Kevin Witzke, daughter, Emilia Hudson, granddaughter, Scarlett Bunn, and her sisters, Stacey Rau and Deanna Davies. Laurie is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Grissom; and her two brothers, Scott and Doug Grissom.
