Kennon Don Anderson's Obituary
Kennon Don Anderson passed away peacefully at his home on July 26, 2026. He was born on September 23, 2004, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Roger "Kip" Anderson and Melissa Dawn McKee. Though his years were far too few, Kennon lived fully, loved deeply, and left an unforgettable impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Kennon had a passion for anything with wheels. He loved drift cars, race cars, muscle cars, dirt bikes, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, quads, etc. Some of his favorite times were spent meeting up with friends and cruising together. Whether he was working on a car, repairing something that was broken, or simply trying to understand how something worked, Kennon could often be found tinkering. He was naturally handy, curious, and determined. When he found something he truly loved, he poured himself into it and excelled.
In addition to cars and bikes, Kennon enjoyed fishing, playing video games, making music, and listening to music but most of all, Kennon loved spending time with his family. To him, family was not defined by blood, it was defined by love. You did not have to share his last name or his DNA for him to claim you as his own. His love for people was never measured by the blood you shared, but by the love he carried in his heart. If Kennon loved you, he would not hesitate to introduce you to his brother, sister, niece, nephew, Mamaw, Papaw, aunt, uncle, cousin, or simply family. Once you had a place in Kennon's heart, you had a place in his family forever.
Kennon was especially wonderful with children and shared a special bond with his nieces and nephews. He loved them dearly, and the time he spent playing with them, making them laugh, and simply being their Uncle Kennon will remain among his family's most treasured memories.
He had a heart of gold and a personality that was entirely his own. Those who knew him described him as goofy, funny, handsome, uniquely Kennon, and just the right amount of wild. He brought energy and laughter wherever he went and was never afraid to be himself.
Kennon attended Bixby and Webster schools and later worked alongside his father at Ace Fence and Gate. His willingness to learn, talent for working with his hands, and ability to figure things out served him well both at work and throughout his life.
Kennon is survived by his father, Roger "Kip" Anderson; his loving mother, Melissa Dawn McKee, and stepfather, Lee Sefcik; his siblings, Briana McKee and Chandler Carey, Andrea Jones and Cameron Jones, Dustin Anderson, Brionna Burnett and Seth Burnett, and Brett Sefcik and Kayla Sefcik; his grandparents Don McKee and Karen McKee; his Uncle Matt McKee and Aunt Kelley McKee, and Uncle Tim Anderson and Aunt Elise Anderson; beloved cousins, nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his Uncle Brad Anderson, Grandfather Jimmy Don Anderson, Grandmother Yvonne Cox, and Grandfather Richard Cox.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Bixby-South Tulsa Funeral Service, 13307 S Memorial Drive, Bixby, OK 74008.
A Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in the chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery, with a short graveside service immediately following. 5111 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa, OK 74145.
Kennon's life cannot be measured by the number of years he was given, but by the love he shared, the laughter he created, and the memories he leaves behind. He will forever be remembered, deeply missed, and lovingly cherished. Forever 21
