Kenneth Wayne Crandell's Obituary
Surrounded by loved ones, Kenneth Wayne Crandell departed his earthly body on July 30, 2025 and went home to be with Jesus. Ken was sick for a long time and is no longer suffering.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing, "treasure hunting," and playing meteorologist. He was patriotic and had a passion for music, Civil War relics and history, video creation and editing, sharing his interests on social media, playing guitar, attending concerts, motorcycle riding, and spending time with his family.
Ken always brought humor to situations and enjoyed making up silly songs and parodies on the spot. He was intelligent, analytical, creative, generous, helpful, and always wanted to share his passions with others. He always had a solution for any problem and helped however he could. He showed his love through acts of service and gift-giving and always provided for his family - and often strangers - and their needs.
Ken was an electronics engineer and worked a variety of jobs throughout his career and was proud of his many accomplishments. He worked in management and retired from work as a pipeline controller for an oil & gas company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley & Robert "Bob" Crandell of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Ken is survived by his wife of 45 years, Teresa, and their children and families: Angela Crandell-Bingaman & Gabe Bingaman and their children Bentley, Guilianna, and Greyson; Rebecca Crandell and her son Ryan Turner; Sarah & Ehsan Amooei and their children Emma and Isaac; and Danielle Crandell. Ken also has two brothers, Michael and David Crandell and their families.
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." -Revelation 21:4 KJV
