Today, we come together to honor the life of Kee-a cherished soul whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew him. His journey was marked by quiet resilience, deep affection, and a steadfast devotion to those he held dear. Though no words can fully capture the essence of who he was, we speak them now to celebrate the legacy he leaves behind. Kee was born in Kansas City, Kansas, to Christopher Yang and Yer Khang. He grew up in a vibrant household of thirteen children-six brothers and six sisters-where laughter, shared stories, and strong sibling bonds shaped his early years. Though he was only 44, Kee made a lasting impact that far exceeded the time he spent on this earth. He didn't wait to be asked-he simply acted. Whether fixing something, offering support, or just being present, Kee was always there: quietly dependable and full of heart. His five years of military service reflected his courage, discipline, and unwavering sense of duty. Kee served with honor and distinction, earning the respect of his peers and superiors alike. His dedication was recognized with an honorable discharge and military honors-a testament to the integrity and valor he carried throughout his service. He never sought recognition, but his actions spoke volumes about the kind of man he was: principled, selfless, and devoted to protecting others. After earning a degree in computer science and technology, Kee focused on what mattered most-his family. In 2011, he married his wife, Pang (Leena) Moua. Together, they raised four sons-Isaiah, Kyren, Rhysen, and Elias. Fatherhood was not just a role Kee embraced-it was a calling he lived with purpose and pride. He nurtured each of his boys with a rare blend of gentleness and strength, guiding them through life's challenges with patience, wisdom, and a profound love. He was their protector, teacher, and greatest champion-always present, always believing in who they were and who they could become. Kee lived in Sacramento, California, where he built a life rooted in love, service, and quiet strength. Later, he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma-a place where he felt safe for his kids, grounded, and at peace. It became a sanctuary where he could continue to grow as a husband, father, and friend. Kee's hands were skilled, his spirit adventurous. He found peace in nature, whether casting a line or tracking game. Yet his greatest joy came from being a dad-his children were his world, and he poured himself into their lives with pride and purpose. Generous to a fault, Kee was the kind of man who gave without hesitation. His kindness anchored his family, and his presence brought comfort and stability. He had a gift for making others feel valued and cared for. We will miss his infectious grin, his playful humor, and the sound of his laughter. His gentle nature and steady presence brought light into our lives, and that light will continue to shine in our memories. Kee's faith was resolute, and he lived by the principles of grace, humility, and love. His actions reflected a man guided by spiritual strength and a heart full of compassion. Though he is no longer physically with us, Kee's spirit endures-in the lives he shaped, the love he gave, and the example he set.
