I had the opportunity to speak with Danielle's mom, Karen, during Danielle and Sheila's wedding. Although her health prevented her from traveling to Europe, she was able to be part of the service through video calls.
In a private conversation, I felt the immense warmth and joy she shared for Danielle and Sheila. I am so grateful I had the chance to connect with her on such a beautiful day and to meet the person behind all the stories Danielle has shared over the years.
In that short conversation, I knew immediately that Karen was the loving and caring person I had heard so much about. I will always cherish that memory.
My thoughts are with the entire family.
