June Ione Robinson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Clare House in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Born on June 6, 1932 in Rapid City, South Dakota, in 1948, at the age of 16 June married Harrol Arnold (H.A.) Sheppard of Oklahoma, and together they had five children. H.A. died July 4, 1999. Sherry Lynn McNichol n e Sheppard of Owasso, Oklahoma, Mitchell Flynn Sheppard of Denver, Colorado, Julia Dawn McGee n e Sheppard of Laramie, Wyoming, Cinthia Kay Cornell, formerly Abernathy (Bill) n e Sheppard of Harrison, Michigan, and Tommy Harrol Sheppard (deceased). She is survived by four children, nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren, one brother, Joseph Harry Raby of San Diego, California and one sister, Susan Jane Beaver, (formerly Minter; n e Raby) of Grand Prairie, Texas.
She was predeceased by her parents, Tom Raby, and Helen Margaret Raby n e Lewis of Edgemont, South Dakota, brother, Russell Thomas Raby of Edgmont, South Dakota, and brother, Richard Allen Raby of Edgemont, South Dakota.
June married Ryle Robinson on June 21, 1997, in Broken Arrrow, Oklahoma, where they lived until the time of her death. They met when June approached Ryle and asked him to dance, and they "danced" right into marriage at the age of 65. Ryle taught her to golf-a passion she embraced with enthusiasm, becoming a fixture at the Golf Club of Oklahoma, often golfing with other couples. For the first time in her life, she traveled for fun, taking a trip together with Ryle to Ireland, Germany, and Austria. June was known for her love of God, her joy and her positive attitude. She was a ray of sunshine, with a wonderful wit.
