Jose Andres Galaviz-Zamarron beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother, passed away on Thursday April 2nd, 2026 at 46 years old. Jose was born on June 26,1979 in Madera, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose Andres Galaviz, Sr. and Rosa Arcadia Zamarron.
He is survived by his parents, his beloved children Felicia Monson-Galaviz, Andrew Galaviz, Alex Galaviz (Ashlynn Galaviz), Lilia Galaviz, and Heli Galaviz. His grand-children, Daniel Archer Jr., Shaylee Archer, Emma. His siblings, Juan Galaviz (Rainy Galaviz), Nubia Galaviz-Miller (Ryan Miller), Eduardo Ordaz, Kenia Ordaz-Martinez (Martin Martinez) and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jose was a hard-working blue collar kind of guy. He loved his career as a professional butcher and had spent his last several years as the meat department manager at various Tulsa area grocers where he formed life long friendships. He absolutely loved to cook and specifically barbecue for his family. He was the life of our family reunions. He could provide a joke and a good laugh at just the right time. When you needed to hear an encouraging word, he'd be there to lend an ear or a shoulder. He enjoyed spending time watching and playing sports, but his world revolved around his kids, he was so proud of his boys. His girls were the apple of his eye and meant the world to him. He shared a special bond with his maternal grandmother, Lilia Montez de Zamarron.
Jose was so loved by his family. He will be incredibly missed by his family, friends, co-workers, and all whom he touched in his life.
"And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." - Revelation 21:4 NWT
