Joleta June Reinking's Obituary
June passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 24th, at the age of 88.
She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she would later marry William (Bill) Reinking in 1958. Their loving union lasted 42 years until Bill's passing. During their early years together, June worked as a data entry operator in Tulsa while Bill pursued his education at Oklahoma State University. After Bill graduated as an Electrical Engineer, June devoted herself to being a stay-at-home mother to their daughter.
In October 1973, the family embarked on a new chapter when they moved to Sacramento, California. June embraced this change and built a life there for many years.
A new adventure began in April 2016 when June moved with her daughter, son-in-law, and youngest grandson to central Florida, where they shared eight wonderful years together. In September 2024, they moved to the Tulsa area, bringing June full circle to spend her final months surrounded by her extended family in the place where her story began.
June is survived by her devoted daughter Lynn Howe, son-in-law Cliff, grandsons Michael, Matthew, and Brandon Howe, and three great-grandsons who brought joy to her later years.
She will be laid to rest in California beside her beloved late husband Bill.
