John Browning Obituary
John Browning was born at Tulsa, Oklahoma on Aug. 30, 1926. He was the son of John Felix and Norma Lykins Browning. John passed away after a brief illness at the age of 58 at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 1985.
John was a toolmaker for Rockwell International and was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church since 1967. John and Hazel were united in marriage in 1950 at Bixby, Oklahoma and had been a lifelong resident of Bixby.
John is survived by: his wife, Hazel of the home; two daughters: Connie Sue Coleman of Enid, Oklahoma and Teri Lynn Goad of Glenpool, OK; three sisters: Carrie Mae Wheeler, Peggy Marie Terrain of Tulsa, OK., and Alva Jean Lary of Manford, OK. and one granddaughter, Susan Leanne Goad of Glenpool, OK.
