Like Bob Riley I was a classmate of Jim and Audie in the class of 1961 of Wheeler HS (Texas). I considered him my friend. He was a gifted athlete and a good student and was very popular. Perhaps I was the class nerd. I believe that I was in the band with Audie Jo. They seemed to be the perfect couple. Unfortunately we lost touch after high school. Tonia, We received the email about Jim's passing last night. We are sorry we missed the funeral. Jim and I were more than cousins, we were friends and teammates. In high school, everyone recognized Jim as an outstanding athlete but truly admired him as a person. We look forward to seeing him in heaven. Bob and Gayle Riley
